Averill House Vineyard
Our Vineyard is designed with you in mind. We are tailoring each area with hospitality and amenities to make your stay as enjoyable and relaxing as possible. We hope that our attention to detail and desire to pamper you shines through each and every time you visit. We planted the Vineyard in May of 2015. Opened the Tasting Room Summer of 2017 and are booking small events of up to twenty guest.
In 2018 bring a lunch and spend your afternoon unwinding and relaxing in pure bliss.
The Spring House
In 2019 we plan on redoing the Spring House, designed for you to escape to the vineyard.
The Vineyard is located in the Hillborough Watershed area which for years provided Ice and Wood to Boston and surrounding communities. The winery is in our 1800's barn. The grounds are relaxing, providing a rendezvous for hiking, horseback riding, art trails and water sports.
Legend has it that Averill House was home to one of many families that traded in wood and ice, shipping the goods from the nearby rail system to hiking trails along Route 13.
Making Life Move with Bold Flavors
After traveling to many of the major commercial and family vineyards in the United States we are overly impressed by the friendliness of vineyards in Texas, New Hampshire and Maine, we choose to mirror them.
Providing an unassuming relaxed and friendly atmosphere that leads to self exploration of your favorite beverage. Allowing you to sample and grow your taste buds at your own speed. No pretense and every question is a good one.
We pride on ourselves in using Organic methods and sourcing New England product when possible.
With eleven Grape varietals, Raspberry, Blueberry, Strawberry and fruit trees surrounding the property there is a new wine being made every day.
We wish to share our creations with you.
